A QTEC ceramic engineer can help you develop new enamels to meet your customer’s requirements for bond, thermal shock resistance, heat resistance, and color.  All R&D is performed in your facility, with your equipment, so avoid the problem of “it works great in the lab, but we can’t make it work in production!”

Porcelain Enameling Troubleshooting

Are you having production rejects for appearance or performance? Having a QTEC ceramic engineer review your process and conduct experiments may be your solution.  Often, an experienced outsider with fresh eyes can catch something you are overlooking.

Don’t make the jump without being informed.  A QTEC ceramic engineer can introduce you and your staff to the basics with in-plant training, and can assist in locating an iron source and implementing the process.  NOTE: Our founder chaired the writing of the PEI technical manual on enameling cast iron.
